One week of cheer practice without fail.
12 hours under the hot-blazing sun
and continuous screaming, shrieking, and yelling from 10 am - 6 pm on the 'big' day.
Let me introduce you the 'sampats' that enjoyed this torturous yet exciting event, including myself.

Its the company that makes it all fun and worth-while :)

But everything means nothing,
if I ain't got you.

WHAT ON EARTH?!

gay and lesbian guidelines

If it is too small, here is what it says :

Have a muscular body and like to show their body by wearing V-neck and sleeveless clothes.

Its my second weekend here in Sarawak.
Everything is pretty good for now :)
My body is keeping up with the extreme walking.
After 9 months of laziness, my body isn't like before.
Even walking in malls for 20 minutes is tiring enough for me :(
So, yeah. Still trying to walk more :D

So, Happy Malaysia Day!

Since Malaysia Day falls on a Sunday, which means we have a replacement holiday on Monday and that allows us to explore the meow-meow city :D

Mr Pamap is such a wonderful man :)

He accompanied us throughout the day and he is really good in blending in with the youths.

We hit the road at 8.30am and went for mass at St. Joseph Church.
It is really a beautiful church.
I love the design and the classic look it puts out with all the wooden interior decorations :)

So, we started off with a mouth watering breakfast with porkiesss!
Oh my Kolo-Mee!
How much I've missed you! T_____________T

how Kolo-Mee looks like :D

I never actually understood the meaning of desperation until I entered UNIMAS.

I'm like soooo desperate in getting these :

i) Wi-Fi

ii) Pork
iii) Chocolate cakes

And while driving, I actually noticed a couple of things.

 Sarawakians DO NOT HORN

- Imagine you want to stick your butt into another lane, or tried squeezing yourself between cars in a slow moving traffic.

What will be the consequences in KL?

i) You get a super long horn.

ii) You get the death-stare.

Sarawak?

i) They give way, willingly.

Sarawak roads are potholes-free

- Since the first day I've arrived in Kuching, I have never seen a pothole and the roads are 'shiny'. I wonder why?

Back to my road trip.

After breakfast, we went over to Boulevard and did our shopping.
Bought so much of things that I was so scared the Viva will be overloaded. HAHA
Next destination?
The Spring.
I would say the Spring is a replica of KL's Pavilion.
Many branded shops and all we could do is window shop :(
But, I still managed to get two cute tees at Rm 23 after a rebate of Rm 2.
And the best part is? The total was supposed to be RM 55 but well, thanks to Hari Malaysia, we have Hari-Malaysia-Sale! wee wang wang ^^V

Too bad, no size for boyf's tee.

If not, he would get a souvenir when I'm back :P Heh

I still cannot believe I drove on the highway-type-of-road for more than 30 minutes.

Cause usually my mind would have wondered off by then.
And that is why my parents and boyf wouldn't allow me to drive on a long journey especially on a straight road :P

Anyway, I'm still counting my days to get back to KL.

Its not like I'm home sick or I dislike Sarawak.
I just want to go home.

A Brand New Experience

MAP : Minggu Aluan Pelajar aka Orientation

After checking into my new 'house' on Sunday at 3 pm, went for early dinner with parents and others for dinner at Cafe Kuning. Surprisingly, the food was really cheap.

Menu

Nasi Goreng Biasa : Rm 2.50
Nasi Goreng Kampung : Rm 3.00

Then, parents left and my horrendous week begin.
On Sunday itself, MAP lasted up to 11:30 pm.
By the time we walked back and settled down to sleep, the clock strikes 1:00 am  :(
and so as Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Hated it so much!
Lack of sleep and mentally tired.

But Thursday, I started loving what we always do :)
We started practicing Allamanda's cheer.
Everyone was so cooperative and the cheer actually sounded soooooooo good!
Believe me!
We practice and practice and practice and finally on Friday night,
Allamanda's cheer rocked the entire 5-floor-with-5000-capacity-student hall!!

ALLAMANDA IS THE CHAMPION! *muka bangga*

woooooooohooooooooo!! :D

See for yourself :P

Now, no more MAP and I'm actually missing it :(
Seniors are right.
We WILL enjoy and miss MAP although we will hate it at first.

HIGHLIGHTS

Sarawakian are really nice people and that make me realized how rude Semenanjung people could be.
A bunch of Malay girls being so rude and offensive as they show disrespect towards the voluntary seniors who probably slept later than us and woke up much earlier.
As the Liaison Officers (LO) are introducing themselves for our convenience if we need any help in the future, 2 different groups of Malay girl (with their accent, I'm quite positive that they are not locals) shouted.

"Dahlah! Dah pukul berape ni?!"

and continue to be rude until we're allowed to dismiss.
I agree that it was very late already, approximately 2:00 am,
BUT, that is not the way to behave!
Although we are tired, but they are even more exhausted.

FYI, we slept at 1:00 am and wake up at 4:00 am :) *for a week*

Another highlight would be UNIMAS is the best!
We are provided with a minimum of 5 meals per day when other unis do not, and and and . . .

One of our meal?
KFC!
Like seriously, which uni provides KFC during orientation for 4000-5000 students?
UNIMAS!

I'm proud to say,
I'm a UNIMAS student and will always be proud of it :)

Introducing the ladies that kept me alive in UNIMAS :)
Thanks to them, I overcome home-sick and things aren't that hard or bad being away from home :)

From the right : Vynter , Me , Anna & Fifi :)
