'What a boring life', that's what I usually mumble to myself.
'What does life even mean? You live, you learn, you work and you die.'
That was all because I did the same routine every single day.
But today, I choose to look at life at a different way.
Thanks to a short moment when I stared blankly at my parents,
playing in the porch.
Yup! My parents, playing in the porch :)
Just before,
I had a short joyful morning with my dad.
Today, he took leave just to follow me for an interview.
Throughout the journey, we talked and laughed bout all the silly things our family would do.
Then I recalled, he always, ALWAYS takes leave to collect our report cards, for parent-teacher's day, even just to watch us run in a 100m race.
Im grateful for a father like him.
Out of 10, how many fathers actually do that?
2? 3?
Well, my old man is one of them! :)
My dad is also currently taking facebook course from me :P
My mother, a cheerful woman.
Constantly encouraging me to do things I love.
to ignore others opinion.
and to always be happy.
Her lame jokes, all the stupidly-funny things she does and says at home.
is the reason why our family is full of laughters :)
Angry-bird.
That's the nickname my mom chose for my little sis.
That's because she's always, (most of the time laa) angry, especially when she's tired.
But, my sister is my faithful companion.
She will be there to share gossips, to complain, and definitely to irritate me.
But you see, I enjoy her irritating me.
Because there is where we will argue, yell at one another, having cat-fight and finally, laugh about it at the end of the day.
I have a family which others would long to have.
I have true friends which others hope to have.
I enjoy what I do, although is the same and will be the same until September comes.
Then I realised,
Life is not where we live, we learn, we work and we die.
Life is how we make use of the moments we have in between.
We might do the same routine everyday.
At times, life would seem so boring, meaningless and difficult.
But, I will always remind myself.
I have everything the rich would pay to have.
A family.
Friends.
Happy-Relationship.
What else would I ask for? :)
So, stop complaining Caryn.
Live life.
